I cant resist those questionaires (see previous posts) but here is an honest to goodness original post from yours truly.

Not too much going on here lately...the cold weather is keeping us all indoors which translates to the house is getting tore up!!! LOL...instead of blogging, or surfing, or reading other blogs I should be cleaning, but thats just not as much fun!

Have a full house today. Both of my boys have inservice days from school. I have the little girl I babysit here along with her older (4) sister because she is off school, and then I have Ben- the little boy I babysit. THey are currently tearing up the livingroom, while my sons are outside probably close to breaking their necks playing on the ice.

All I want to do is take a nap in my nice warm bed under my covers, but that doesnt look like its going to happen anytime soon!

Cowboy and I are supposed to have a date night tonite and go out to eat and then go see a movie we have both been waiting for to come out. We are gonna see Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage. It looks really cool and seeing it in on the big screen ought to be awesome!! Hopefully he wont be too tired from work when he gets home to go,

I found this on a friends blog! (Thanks Perky) and had to take the test. I think it is really funny because Ive NEVER thought of myself to have a Philadelphia accent. Now I have some friends who were born and raised in Philly that would beg to differ with that opinion...lol...but I definitely think its funny that I would be recognized as coming from the Philadelphia area to out of towners!!! Guess you never know!!!

Back on the diet bandwagon...

Yes again!! It is a never ending thing with me. Someone just needs to glue my ass to the seat so I cant get off! Been slowly making changes, healthy breakfast..oatmeal or yogurt and fruit, made a nice big container of salad on Mon with romaine, baby spinach, snow peas, and grape tomatoes...yum. Been having that each day with some protein left over from night befores dinner. Fruit or yogurt in the late afternoon to hold me for dinner, then trying really hard to make good choices for dinner. Dinnertime and after are what I struggle with the most. Boo(ds-15) and Ber(ds-13) eat plenty of veggies and arent hard to cook for, but Cowboy is very picky and is big on steak and potatoes or some kind of macaroni. He likes almost no veggies...although I did get some fresh spinach in him last night without too much complaint. He doesnt like most veggies, but he likes the weird ones like spinach and lima beans...I wont even eat lima beans!!!!

Anyway as anotherf hop back on the bandwagon I am rejoining the gym I recently let my membership lapse at. I talked to them yesterday and they have some kind of junior program for over 14yrs old so Im hoping that Boo can join with me. He really wants to start working out so at least that will get me there...lol!

Finally a snow day...

We not off but 2 hours late anyway!! My boys have been dying for a snow day with all the forcasts of snow we have been getting. Of course today ds-13 (Ber) had a field trip and really didnt want a day off...lol.

DH (Cowboy) cleared all the walks and salted everything so I didnt even have to get out of my nice warm pjs until 10 today! Likin that!!! lol

I am carless (actually vanless) this week because Cowboy had to get his truck inspected and it needed some front end work so he has my car. The mechanic has had the truck since Monday so I am seeing $$$$$$$ all over!!!!

Its amazing how much I can get done in a day when I stay home....I can even impress myself! Maybe I ought to try staying home more often!

7 months since my last post but who is counting???? Hopefully no one...lol. I realized after reading a couple of my friends posts on their blogs that I do miss doing this, and after I reread some of my posts they didnt seem nearly as pointless and full of babble as I thought they were. At least not reading them now they dont seem to...so I am back on the blogging bandwagon. Probably forgot everything I previously learned about blogging so please bear with me....lol.

Gloomy Tuesday

What is it about the weather that totally affects our moods? I feel kinda blah today...mirroring the weather I see outside. I did take advantage of a rare day spent at home (usually at the pool) and got alot of stuff done that needed it. Got all my plants watered, got the boys fish tanks cleaned, loads and loads of laundry washed and folded, kitchen cleaned, floor mopped. So all in all not a bad day.

Back after crashing!!!

Dont know what happened...or what went wrong...but my antivirus found a virus, and when I cleaned it..my whole system went down!!! Gone...kaput!!! Couldnt even get windows to run...it was bad!! Basically we had to reformat the whole computer and start from scratch. WHen I think of all the cool pics, graphics ect that I lost it makes me want to scream. AH well...I guess life goes on!!!!

It may take a few days but hopefully I will get most everything back and running. Now Im off to try and recover my bloglines so I can catch up on everyone!!!!

Not a baby anymore!!!!

Gosh they grow up so fast! I mean blink a few times and there go 2 or 3 years. Seems like I just gave birth to him, taught him to walk, ride a bike, play ball, not cringe whenever he crossed the street by himself....and now he is getting ready to graduate from junior high school. Where did the time go?

Friday night was his 8th grade dance. He looked sooo hansome I could barely stand it. You will see in his pictures that his hair needs to be cut(a long standing arguement between the 2 of us) but he loves it long. For that matter all the girls he knows tell him to leave it long too...so I guess Mom is outvoted for now. Its just so hard for me to believe that my little baby boy is turning into a man. Not much little boy left in there at all. Once in a while I catch a glimpse of it, when he doesnt know hes being watched, or when he doesnt have to be cool... those are the times I treasure!!!
